The 15 pairs of Mr. and Miss MASTS 2024 candidates from various State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) captivated the audience with their remarkable skills at the Talent Night Competition held on November 25, 2024, at the Provincial Complex Dao in Pagadian City. It featured various performances, including dancing, singing, acting, impersonation, broadcasting, martial arts, and oration.
The candidates were given a chance to showcase their personalities and set the tone for the night through their production numbers before the proper start of the competition. MASTS participants and spectators witnessed this event, and several SUC presidents were also in attendance, showing their support for the candidates representing their institutions.
“This event serves as a showcase of exceptional skills, creativity, and passion, highlighting the unique abilities of our outstanding candidates,” said Dr. Patricia D. Bahian, Director of the Pagadian City Extension Campus at J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC), in her welcome remarks.
As the program came to a close, JHCSC Key Officials, including Dr. Bahian, Federated Faculty and Staff Association (FFASA) President Prof. Glady C. Quirante, and Alumni Trustee Hon. Glendell I. Oyo-a, facilitated the giving of certificate of appreciation for the judges for giving their valuable time, expertise, and dedication.
The Talent Night Competition was a resounding success, further building excitement for the upcoming coronation night, set for Thursday, November 28, 2024. As the candidates continue to shine, this event serves as a reminder of the importance of creativity, passion, hard work, and collaborative spirit, which continues to inspire and unite students from various SUCs in a shared pursuit of excellence.
