The School of Nursing (SON), led by Dean Prof. Marjo Malabanan, held its โNight in Gale Season 3: Euphoriaโ on October 25, 2024, at Pavilion Hall in Dao, Pagadian City. This event united students and faculty for an evening of fashion and camaraderie, with attendees showcasing glamorous attire in line with the โEuphoriaโ dress code, adding vibrancy to the celebration.
A significant highlight of the evening was the ceremonial candle lighting, held to honor all nurses and acknowledge their dedication to healthcare in alignment with the culmination of Nursesโ Week. The ceremony featured a community singing of โHawak Kamay,โ symbolizing unity and reverence for the nursing profession and its lasting legacy. This tribute underscored the School of Nursingโs commitment to cultivating a strong community among students and faculty, embodying the shared values of compassion and service.
The event featured a runway show and a parade of talents, providing students a platform to express their creativity beyond academic commitments. The celebratory atmosphere was further enhanced by the induction of the Nursing Student Body Organization (NSBO) Officers, led by President Mr. Mark Lee Gotuman and officiated by NSBO Adviser Mr. Alfred Zomar B. Bongolan, RN, MN.
This induction marked the beginning of a new year of student leadership, empowering the newly appointed officers to cultivate camaraderie and excellence among their peers. Additionally, the event underscored the School of Nursingโs mission to create and sustain a nurturing environment where unity and collaboration thrive among faculty and students.
