The J.H. Cerilles State College Human Resource Management Office (JHCSC-HRMO), spearheaded by Dr. Julito V. Mandac Jr., conducted a Mobile Kumustahan aligning with this year’s theme of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary: “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes,” held at the College Gymnasium, October 17, 2024.

Main Campus Director Mrs. Bemia Snooky Beboso opened the event, welcoming attendees and commending the HRMO personnel for their initiative. “This activity will equip us to be more diligent, relevant, efficient, and effective as public servants,” she stated, encouraging participants to view the opportunity as a privilege.

The event provided valuable insights to Main Campus employees on vital topics, including the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees, the Comprehensive Leave Administration Program (CLAP), and the 2017 Revised Administrative Code of the Civil Service. Attendees also learned about the implications of the Anti Red Tape Act of 2007, explicitly addressing Rule 10, section 51.b violations.

The Mobile Kumustahan series of sessions across JHCSC Campuses began on September 19, 2024, at the Dumingag Campus, followed by a session at the Lakewood Campus on September 20. The current event at the Main Campus will be followed by a concluding session at the Pagadian Extension Campus tomorrow, October 18, 2024.

President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales expressed strong support for the initiative, reflecting the commitment of JHCSC to promoting ethical standards and continuous professional development among public servants.
