The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) has successfully concluded the first-ever “Mobile Kumustahan” series of sessions across JHCSC campuses, including Dumingag, Lakewood, and Main, in line with celebrating the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary. The final session was held at the Pagadian Extension Campus on October 18, 2024, in the College Library, where faculty and staff participated.

The activity was spearheaded by Dr. Julito V. Mandac, Jr., HRMO Director, aimed to equip employees with the necessary knowledge and skills to enhance public service delivery, fostering a culture of accountability and responsiveness within the institution.

Campus Administrator Dr. Patricia D. Bahian welcomed all the attendees and hoped the led discussions by the well-versed lecturers, including Mr. Kim M. Borja, JD, HRMO III, Mr. Juda P. Cabalog, MPA, HRMO II, and Legal Officer Atty. Princess Rosal B. Inclan would empower the participants in their public service roles.

Atty. Romlyn Regidor, Dean of the School of Law, congratulated the HRMO personnel for initiating such an essential activity, in which they extended extra effort to orient participants for free about the civil service regulations and ethical responsibilities and encouraged participating employees to take full advantage of the learning opportunities presented.

The “Mobile Kumustahan” success reflects the dedication of the HRMO workforce and is a testament to the collective effort of all involved. Dr. Mandac was thankful to Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, JHCSC President, for fully supporting this significant initiative that reinforces the institution’s commitment to serving the public with integrity and professionalism. -EMP
