President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, together with Dr. Moises Glenn G. Tangalin, Dumingag Campus Administrator, led a site visitation at JHCSC Dumingag Campus on September 27, 2024. Top executives from Syntegral Global Solutions Group, including CEO Mr. Bryan Thomas, CTO Mr. Randy Knutson, and Coconut Managing Director Engr. Ramon Barbos attended the visit. The team conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the campus’ land area, marking a pivotal step in their partnership to explore sustainable agricultural opportunities within the institution.
The primary objective of the visit was to assess the land for the proposed coconut plantation and coconut nursery project, which will also serve as a model for agri-technology. This initiative aims to harness innovative agricultural practices to maximize productivity, turning the campus into a hub for large-scale coconut farming and advanced coconut seedling cultivation.
The project is expected to boost local agriculture, create employment, and provide students hands-on learning experiences in modern farming techniques. Additionally, it positions JHCSC as a leader in integrating technology with agriculture, aligning with Syntegral Global Solutions’ mission to promote sustainable development and economic growth in the region. -RMOJ
