JHCSC President Rosales Attends BIGKIS 2024: 1st Philippine Higher Education Conference on Indigenous Peoples Education

Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, President of J.H. Cerilles State College, is participating in BIGKIS 2024, a two-day conference beginning today, July 4, 2024, and concluding on July 5, 2024, at Bukidnon State University in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. CHED Commissioner Ronald L. Adamat delivered the keynote speech during the morning session of the conference’s first day.
Building Indigenous Knowledge for Inclusivity and Sustainability (BIGKIS) is an initiative by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) that aims to deepen the understanding and appreciation of Indigenous Peoples’ Culture within State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) across the Philippines.

President Rosales’s presence at BIGKIS 2024 demonstrates his dedication to advancing indigenous education and promoting cultural diversity within JHCSC’s community.
