JHCSC Canuto Campus: Distribution of Diplomas to 120 Graduates, Awarding Ceremony, and Tribute to Parents and Teachers

Under the theme: Embracing the Past, Celebrating the Present, Shaping the Future, a Special Ceremony was held on June 19, 2024, at Mary Queen of Apostle Parish Gymnasium, Poblacion, Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur, to honor the parents and teachers and to give recognition to the JHCSC Canuto Campus Class of 2024 Graduates.
The event began with a processional march of the Registrar with mace, Academic Awardees, Graduates with their proud Parents, Staff, Faculty, Program Chairs, Deans, Administrators, and Guest.
𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐝𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐨 𝐇. 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐉𝐇𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 120 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐝:

  • Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies (BAELS) (27 Graduates)
  • Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) (35 Graduates)
  • Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTEd) (21 Graduates)
  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) (37 Graduates)


President Rosales delivered an inspiring message, “The challenge does not end during graduation. It is the start of the challenge,” he said to the students, emphasizing that this milestone marks the beginning of new opportunities and responsibilities. He also encouraged the graduates to take the initiative in securing employment to support themselves and their families.
The distribution of the diploma was facilitated by President Rosales, along with Canuto Campus Administrator Ricky A. Egos, Vice President for Research and Resource Generation Dr. Jerry P. Superales, Pagadian Annex Campus Administrator Dr. Patricia D. Bahian, and Provincial Government Representative Glendell I. Oyo-a.
One of the ceremony’s most touching moments was the heartfelt tribute to the parents who provided unwavering support and immense sacrifices throughout their children’s academic journeys and the teachers who have guided, mentored, and inspired the graduates.
As the JHCSC Canuto Campus Class of 2024 Graduates move forward, they carry the lessons, values, and legacy of JHCSC, ready to embrace the future with confidence and determination.
