The Guidance and Counselling Office at J.H. Cerilles State College Pagadian Annex, in collaboration with the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Department, spearheaded by Program Chair Marjo S. Malabanan, facilitated an Orientation for PROJECT HUGS Beneficiaries under the guidance of Dr. Moibe F. Olitres.
This event was held at JHCSC Skills Laboratory, Pagadian Annex, on May 18, 2024, and aimed to give entrepreneurship awareness and information to the Hope and Understanding for Gender-Sensitive (HUGS) Entrepreneurs Association members, including Self-Supporting Students, Senior Citizens, Solo Parents, and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) to be financially independent.
Guest Speaker Edgar Allan C. Monreal, Consultant for Agro-Industrial Development and Environmental Management, encourages aspiring entrepreneurs to be socially and environmentally responsible in facing Life Challenges, Climate Change, Population Boom, and Graft and Corruption.
The PROJECT HUGS, under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program (ILEEP), is part of the JHCSC Community Extension Service Office (CESO) program, spearheaded by Director Ricky A. Egos for those with inadequate earnings can avail financial assistance to allow them to be economically productive.
