JHCSC FABLAB: Ongoing Production and Distribution of Protective Face Shields in the Province of Zamboanga del Sur

With limited funds and resources, several donors helped our Institution produce 991 units (98 3D Printed and 893 Laser Cut) Protective Face Shields for our frontline workers in the province of Zamboanga del Sur. Despite the enhanced community quarantine implementation, JHCSC FABLAB face shield production will continue until materials are exhausted.
JHCSC commends the following donors of materials for our continuous production; DTI Zamboanga del Sur, Starlight General Merchandise, Margosatubig Regional Hospital, Singles for Christ Pagadian, Mr. Julito N. Timtim of Rotary Club Pagadian West, Metro Pagadian Specialist Hospital, Inc., Dr. Reynaldo C. Ortiz, and JHCSC Administrative Officials.
JHCSC FABLAB will continue to produce face shields for the community as we receive additional materials from donors. This include Polylactic acid (PLA)-(2.85 mm, 750 grams), PVC Cover (A4-300 210 mm X 297 mm), Medium Density Fiberboard (3mm/ 6 mm), and Garter.
Thus far, JHCSC FABLAB Protective Face Shield production is ongoing and is projected to have an output of 200 face shields a day covering at least 10% of the projected need of the front-line workforce in the province.
