Inspired by the Harry Potter series, the School of Law (SOL), under the leadership of Dean Atty. Romylyn O. Regidor, celebrated the Hogwarts Night Acquaintance Party 2025 at the Pavilion Hall in Dao, Pagadian City on November 23, 2025. Organized by the Supreme Student Council (SSC) officers, the event brought together students in modern wizard-themed attire, creating a lively atmosphere for the annual gathering.

Attendees included faculty and staff from the School of Law, as well as students grouped into the four Hogwarts houses. JD 1 students (Four and Five-Year Curriculum) represented Gryffindor, JD 2 students (Four and Five-Year Curriculum) represented Ravenclaw, JD 3 students stood as Hufflepuff, while JD 4 students carried the banner of Slytherin. This creative grouping added character to the event and strengthened participation among the year levels.

The highlights of the program included the induction and oath-taking of the newly elected Supreme Student Council and Bar Operation officers, followed by the presentation and oath-taking ceremony of the JHCSC Alliance of Mooting and Debating Circle (JAMADEC). The celebration also featured a dance competition, where the JD 1 students from the five-year curriculum secured the top spot.

Hon. Divina Grace C. Yu, Provincial Governor of Zamboanga del Sur, attended the gathering and delivered an inspirational message to the future lawyers, encouraging them to remain committed as they navigate the demands of their chosen profession.

Adding to the eveningโ€™s significance was the birthday celebration of Dean Regidor, who grew emotional as she thanked the students for their heartfelt gesture, expressing her deep appreciation for the effort they put into making the moment memorable and for their unwavering support of the School of Law.

This acquaintance party embodied the magic of connection and camaraderie, providing the SOL community with a meaningful break from the academic setting while strengthening bonds among its aspiring
