J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales participated in the National Financial Inclusion Summit held at Novotel, Quezon City, on November 13, 2025. The event, organized by the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) in partnership with the Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation, Inc. (CLFI), carried the theme โ€œ#LahatKasama: Strengthening Financial Inclusion through Education.โ€

The summit brought together leaders and representatives from State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), the Department of Education (DepEd), the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), and key private sector partners, undescoring the critical role of education in advancing financial inclusion and resilience among Filipino learners.

Aligned with the BSP National Strategy for Financial Inclusion (2022-2028) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on quality education, poverty reduction, decent work, and sustainable communities, the event emphasizes educational institutionsโ€™ and partnersโ€™ shared commitment to building a financially empowered and resilient generation of Filipinos.

President Rosalesโ€™ participation reflects JHCSCโ€™s commitment to supporting national efforts toward financial empowerment and sustainable development through education.

Soar high, J.H. Cerilles State College!
