The J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) conducted an Evaluation Meeting for the Mindanao Association for State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) 2025 Sports and Socio-Cultural Friendship Games on November 6, 2025, at the JHCSC Conference Room, 3rd Floor, I.T. Building, Pagadian Extension Campus. The meeting was presided over by JHCSC President, Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, and attended by Campus-wide Sports Director Dr. Buena D. Calunsag, heads of offices, faculty members, coaches, advisers, staff, and service personnel.

The evaluation meeting aimed to assess the overall conduct of the recently concluded MASTS 2025 activities, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and discuss strategies for future participation. Dr. Rosales emphasized the importance of learning from the institutionโ€™s experiences to enhance JHCSCโ€™s performance further in both sports and socio-cultural events. Participants were encouraged to share feedback, observations, and recommendations throughout the session.

The discussions were organized into several areas of evaluation, including event preparation, procurement of supplies, actual performance during the games, and the efficiency of kitchen and medical services. Participants also reviewed the total budget utilized for the event and deliberated on recruitment efforts to identify and train more competitive and skilled athletes. During the open forum, attendees addressed concerns, shared insights, and proposed ways to strengthen coordination and resource management for future MASTS engagements.

As part of the meeting, certificates of recognition were awarded to coaches whose student-athletes won medals during the MASTS 2025 competitions. The awarding ceremony served as an appreciation for their dedication and contributions to JHCSCโ€™s successful participation. The honorees expressed gratitude for the recognition and pledged to continue guiding their students toward greater achievements.

In his closing remarks, Dr. Rosales encouraged all sports and cultural committees to start preparations early for the next MASTS Games. He expressed optimism that through continuous training, teamwork, and commitment, JHCSC will secure more medals and strengthen its reputation in regional competitions. The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of unity and determination to uphold the collegeโ€™s spirit of excellence.

Soar high, J.H. Cerilles State College!
