The J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) formally welcomed nine newly hired personnel during an oath-taking and onboarding ceremony organized by the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) on October 24, 2025, at the IT Building Conference Room on the Pagadian Campus. The program was spearheaded by HRMO Head Mr. Kim M. Borja, JD, under the leadership of President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales.

The newly appointed employees include Ms. Prym Crio D. Postrero, Administrative Officer under the Office of the President; Ms. April Ross O. Talip, Budget Officer; Atty. Princess Rosal B. Inclan, Registrar; Mr. Kit Jay L. Sebial, Internal Auditor; Mr. Rennar Glen M. Dalumpines, Administrative Assistant; Ms. Jelie R. Sudiang and Mr. Michael Jay L. Almerol, Instructors; Mr. Mark Lester P. Catungal, Assistant Professor; and Dr. Jeremias N. Perez, Associate Professor.

In his message, President Rosales congratulated and warmly welcomed the new members of the JHCSC workforce. He urged them to embody professionalism, integrity, and a strong sense of commitment in performing their duties. The president also reminded the new hires of the importance of maintaining proper work ethics, a positive attitude, and exemplary behavior as part of the collegeโ€™s continuing pursuit of excellence in public service.

The orientation sessions were facilitated by HR Department staff members Mr. Juda P. Cabalog, Ms. Imari Pama Taรฑedo-Akir, and Mr. Celene Joel Dumagan. Topics discussed included employee benefits, types of leave and the corresponding application process, financial literacy, loan programs, and administrative practices, followed by a question-and-answer session to address employeesโ€™ clarifications and concerns.

Concluding the event, the HRMO underscored the importance of serving with purpose and dedication. The office encouraged newly hired personnel to make meaningful contributions to the institutionโ€™s growth and development, reinforcing JHCSCโ€™s commitment to cultivating a competent, ethical, and service-oriented workforce.
