The Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC), under the Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), paid a courtesy visit to the J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) โ Pagadian City Extension Campus on October 24, 2025. Campus Director Dr. Patricia D. Bahian warmly welcomed the visiting team, led by JCINSP Mark Anthony S. Saquing.
The purpose of the visit was to formally request permission to use its facilities as one of the testing centers for the PPSA Cadet Admission Test (PPSACAT), scheduled for October 26, 2025. The exam is the first part of the application process for PPSAโs two-year cadetship programs, offering the Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Administration (BSFPA) and the Bachelor of Science in Penology and Corrections Administration (BSPCA), both designed to prepare qualified Fire and Jail Officers for public service.
On behalf of President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, Dr. Bahian expressed the Collegeโs full support and cooperation for the conduct of the PPSACAT. She noted that JHCSC Pagadian Campus, with its proven track record of serving as a testing center for various examinations, consistently maintains orderly and secure testing conditions and is free from cheating incidents wherever exams are held.
In gratitude for JHCSCโs support, the visiting team presented a certificate and a token of appreciation to President Rosales, received by Dr. Bahian on his behalf.
Being chosen as a testing center by a national agency under the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) shows confidence in the Collegeโs integrity, facilities, and management capacity, demonstrating that JHCSC is a trusted and credible institution.
Soar high, J.H. Cerilles State College!
