The JHCSC Board of Trustees (BOT) convened for its 3rd Quarter Regular Meeting on October 2, 2025, at Cotabato State University to deliberate on important institutional matters. Of the thirty-eight (38) Board Resolutions deliberated and acted upon during the quarter, only one (1) was deferred. The meeting was presided over by CHED Commissioner Hon. Dr. Desiderio R. Apag III, Chairperson of the JHCSC-BOT, with College President and Vice Chairperson Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales also present.
Other JHCSC-BOT members who attended included Hon. Glady Quirante, Faculty and Staff Trustee; Hon. Glendell Oyo-a, Alumni Trustee; and Atty. Esther Marie Ringon, BOT Secretary. Joining the meeting via Zoom were NEDA IX Regional Director Hon. Maria Felicidad R. Guerrero, along with Private Sector Representatives Hon. Grace M. Silla and Hon. Mary Ann Farrales.
Key JHCSC officials who contributed to the deliberations included Mr. Wilfredo M. Barnido Jr., Vice President for Administration and Finance; Ms. April Rose Talip, Budget Officer; Atty. Princess Rosal Inclan, OIC College Registrar; Dr. Moises Glenn Tangalin, Dumingag Campus Director; and Prof. Ruel Lasagas, Research Director.
The meeting also featured the oath-taking of the new members of the Board of Trustees: Hon. Benjie T. Jimenez, Student Trustee; and Hon. Joseph Kim C. Yu, Designated Representative of the Chairperson of the House of Representatives Committee on Higher and Technical Education (CHTE), who joined the proceedings virtually.
The JHCSC BOTโs 3rd Quarter Regular Meeting reaffirmed the Collegeโs continued pursuit of good governance and collaborative strategic decision-making in advancing its academic, administrative, and developmental initiatives. Furthermore, JHCSCโs leadership core was further strengthened by the inclusion and oath-taking of the newly inducted members of the JHCSC-BOT.
