The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) has successfully concluded the first-ever “Mobile Kumustahan” series of sessions across JHCSC campuses, including Dumingag, Lakewood, and Main, in line with celebrating the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary. The final session was held at the Pagadian Extension Campus on October 18, 2024, in the College Library, where faculty and staff participated.

The J.H. Cerilles State College Human Resource Management Office (JHCSC-HRMO), spearheaded by Dr. Julito V. Mandac Jr., conducted a Mobile Kumustahan aligning with this year’s theme of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary: “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes,” held at the College Gymnasium, October 17, 2024.

In preparation for the MASTS Friendship Games 2024, scheduled for November 24-29, the JHCSC MASTS Committee held its first coordination meeting at the Pagadian Campus library on October 16, 2024. The meeting was led by College Sports Director Kathleen Jean A. Ursaiz and Culture and Arts Director Joseph Salimbangon, with the support of Main Campus Administrator Bemia Snooky Beboso and ManCom Chairman Manuel C. Paster Jr.

J.H. Cerilles State College, with its President, Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, conducted benchmarking activities on October 10-11, 2024, at Caraga State University and on October 12-13, 2024, at the Amparitas Integrated Nature Farm.

Congratulations to the 𝑱𝑯𝑪𝑺𝑪 𝑺𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒌 𝑻𝒂𝒌𝒓𝒂𝒘 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒎, along with their Coach, Mr. Saddam S. Tandong and Assistant Coach, Dr. Frederick Grengia, for emerging as the 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒊𝒐𝒏 in the 𝑴𝒆𝒏’𝒔 𝑶𝒑𝒆𝒏 during the 𝟕𝒕𝒉 𝒁𝒂𝒎𝒃𝒐𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒂 𝑭𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒂𝒍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, held from September 26-29, 2024.

The Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, and Resource Generation (OVPRERG), led by Dr. Jerry B. Superales, facilitated a two-day training titled “Innovation and Project Impact Assessment,” participated by the forty-nine meticulously selected faculty researchers from across the JHCSC campuses, on October 10-11, 2024, at the Roxan Hotel in Pagadian City.

To promote a sense of togetherness within the community, the JHCSC Main Campus, led by Mrs. Bemia Snooky Beboso, held an event titled “Kasugiran 2024,” on October 11, at the College Gymnasium, Mati, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur. The Supreme Student Council, spearheaded by Mr. Earl Ryan D. Siso, organized this occasion in collaboration with the Office of Student Affairs headed by Dr. Jonno E. Tan.

The Dumingag Campus hosted an acquaintance party themed “Euphoria in Monochrome” as part of the Kasugiran 2024 celebration at the Open Ground in Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur. This engaging event took place on October 11, 2024, and was spearheaded by the Supreme Student Council (SSC), led by SSC Governor Mr. John Michael Pacheco. The Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), under the guidance of Mr. Mariell Jun Sanchez, also played a key role in organizing the event, with support from Dr. Moises Glenn Tangalin, the Dumingag Campus Administrator.

The Lakewood Campus, under the leadership of Prof. Ricky A. Egos, Campus Administrator, hosted a Gala Night for “Kasugiran 2024” on October 9, 2024, at the Municipal Gymnasium in Poblacion, Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur. This event is part of a series of acquaintance parties held across all JHCSC campuses. Attendees showcased their creativity by wearing black and red-themed outfits, an initiative led by the Supreme Student Council (SSC) and SSC Governor Mr. Ralph Edward Trapa, in collaboration with Ms. Kleener Joy Pates, Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) In-charge.

The Pagadian Extension Campus, under the leadership of Dr. Patricia D. Bahian, hosted an acquaintance party on October 8, 2024, at the BSN Building Lobby. Attendees showcased their creativity by wearing Taylor Swift-inspired outfits. The event, themed “KASUGIRAN 2024: Unique Stories, Collective Identity, One JHCSC,” was organized by the Supreme Student Council, spearheaded by Hassanor Saanoding, in collaboration with the Department of Student Affairs (DSA), led by Mrs. Janniece L. Magsayo.
