The School of Graduate Studies held its first faculty meeting for the second semester of the 2023–2024 academic year on February 24, 2024. The meeting occurred in the conference room on the 3rd floor of the I.T. Building, JHCSC Pagadian Annex, Pagadian City.
To promote a culture of wellness and vitality among its staff, the JHCSC inaugurated its weekly physical fitness activity at the main campus in Mati, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur, initiated by Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, the President of the JHCSC.
For the second time, JH Cerilles State College, led by Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, is gearing up to host the much-anticipated Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) Inc. 2024 event this September. With Dr. Rosales at the helm for his second term as college president, the institution is poised to deliver another successful event.
With an impressive showcase of talent and unity, the Supreme Students Council at JHCSC orchestrated the eagerly awaited KAGKAKALIMWA 2024 event at the College Gymnasium on February 22nd. Under the dynamic guidance of Dr. Jonno E. Tan, the Dean of Student Affairs, the event epitomized the essence of JHCSC’s spirit and community.
JH Cerilles State College (JHCSC) took a significant step towards enhancing its quality standards with an ISO 9001:2015 Awareness Meeting at the 3rd Floor Conference Room, Pagadian Annex, on February 16, 2024. The event commenced with an enlightening series of presentations and discussions by esteemed JHCSC administrative and academic leaders and quality assurance team members.
In a heart-warming event held at the College Gymnasium of JHCSC Main Campus, displaced student beneficiaries of the closed JHCSC External Studies Campuses were recipients of much-needed financial assistance. The initiative, spearheaded by Hon. Victor J. Yu, Governor of Zamboanga del Sur with 1st District Representative, Hon. Divina Grace C. Yu, and 2nd District Representative Hon. Jeyzel Victoria C. Yu, marked Batch 2 of releasing aid addressing lodging and transportation needs. The batch 1 release was at Dumingag Campus on February 14, 2024.
The JHCSC conducted its Year-End Agency Performance Review for the fiscal year 2023, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to excellence and accountability. Held at the main campus in Mati, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur, the meeting served as a comprehensive assessment and strategic planning platform to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operations across its campuses. Chaired by Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, President of JHCSC, and brought together key officials and administrators from various departments of JHCSC and representatives from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), headed by Gaesha Hazel D. Wee, Acting Supervising Budget and Management Specialist.
The pursuit of academic excellence took place at the Pagadian Annex Campus’s Conference Room on the third floor of the IT Building as faculty members and heads of academic departments gathered for the Syllabi Review and Enhancement Workshop organized by Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, Vice President for Academic Affairs, today, February 7, 2024.
In compliance with National Budget Memorandum (NBM) No. 149, also known as the National Budget Call for FY 2025, President Edgardo H. Rosales, ED. D. spearheaded the presentation of JHCSC’s proposed programs and projects (PAPs) during the RDC IX Joint Advisory Committee (AdCom) and Executive Committee (ExCom) Review of Priority PAPs for FY 2025 Budget on February 6, 2024, at the Grand Astoria Hotel, Zamboanga City.
