President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales officially received the hard copies of the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) and the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE) programs of J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Main Campus on March 31, 2025, granted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region IX.

Dr. Rosales extended his congratulations to the School of Engineering and Technology (SET), led by Dean Engr. Perla A. Rivera, along with the faculty, staff, and the entire academic and administrative community of JHCSC, for this significant achievement.

Dr. Rosales also conveyed his immense pride in all the men and women who contributed to this milestone, recognizing their efforts in making it possible and successful. He affirmed that achieving full COPC compliance is only a matter of time and encouraged everyone to continue working to realize JHCSC’s goals.

Only three more COPCs remain to be acquired, with the Master of Science in Environmental Resources Management (MSERM), Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (BSIndTech), and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs as the next top priorities. Dr. Rosales encouraged everyone to strive for 100% COPC compliance by the second quarter. He expressed confidence that nothing is impossible when everyone works together, noting that the number of programs without COPC has been reduced from nine to just three.

The granting of the COPC for the BSCE and BSABE programs is a testament to JHCSC’s continuous pursuit of academic excellence and compliance with CHED standards. This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of the JHCSC community in ensuring its programs meet the highest educational benchmarks.

Soar high, J.H. Cerilles State College!
