J.H. Cerilles State College marked the celebration of Dilaab 2025 on February 14, 2025, at the Main Campus gymnasium, with the theme “Kindling Connections, Igniting Camaraderie,” setting the tone for the event. Organized by the Supreme Student Council (SSC) Officers under the leadership of SSC Adviser Sir Ariel Sajulga and facilitated by Mr. Earl Ryan D. Siso, the event was supported by the Office of Student Affairs Services (OSAS), led by Dean Dr. Jonno E. Tan. The event was also in line with the celebration of National Arts Month 2025, highlighting the importance of culture and creativity.
Among the notable attendees was Hon. Cyrusdirk L. Elle, Supreme Student Federated Council President and Student Trustee, who shared a message about love in its many forms. He emphasized that love extends beyond romance to include kindness, friendship, and unity, essential to strengthening the JHCSC community. Students, faculty, and staff enjoyed the event.
The celebration featured various competitions, including Solo Kundiman, Spoken Poetry, and Live Band, where departments such as the School of Teacher Education (STE), School of Engineering and Technology (SET), School of Arts and Sciences (SAS), School of Agriculture, Forestry, and Environmental Studies (SAFES), and the School of Criminal Justice Education (SOCJE) showcased their talents in spirited contests.
Dilaab 2025 concluded with a strong sense of unity and shared pride. The event highlighted the importance of connection, camaraderie, and community within J.H. Cerilles State College. As students, faculty, and staff came together, the celebration underscored the lasting impact of fostering meaningful relationships and reinforcing the spirit of togetherness in the academic community.
