J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) proudly secured the overall 3rd runner-up position in the 13th Federation of Agriculture Students in Mindanao (FASMin) Congress, held on February 3-7, 2025, at Central Mindanao University (CMU), Maramag, Bukidnon. The outstanding performance of the School of Agriculture, Forestry, and Environmental Studies (SAFES) delegates from both the Main and Dumingag Campuses exemplified their hard work, passion, resilience, and excellence throughout the competition.
With the theme “Sustainable Agriculture for Resilient Mindanao: Innovations for a Greener Future,” the congress brought together sixteen (16) state universities and colleges (SUCs), including thirteen (13) competitors and three (3) observers. JHCSC was among the standout SUCs, showcasing exceptional skills and expertise in various agricultural disciplines.
This remarkable achievement was made possible through the unwavering dedication of the faculty coaches: Dr. Nelmie Ponio, Ma’am Lanelyn Nillas, and Sir Jezreel Bacalso, who provided tireless guidance, encouragement, and support to the participants throughout their journey.
Dr. Jerry B. Superales, SAFES Designated Dean, expressed his joy for the team’s remarkable achievement, extending his gratitude to President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales and the JHCSC administration for their full support in ensuring the delegation’s participation in the FASMin Congress at CMU.
The JHCSC community takes immense pride in this outstanding accomplishment, celebrating the resilience and excellence of its students in the field of agriculture. Congratulations to the JHCSC delegation for bringing honor to the institution!
