The School of Business and Management (SBM), under the leadership of Dean Dr. Julito V. Mandac Jr., celebrated its year-end party, “Palad-Palad 2024”, at the JHCSC Hostel, Pagadian City Extension Campus, on December 13, 2024. The event, themed “Gala Gratitude: A Year of Blessings,” welcomed a diverse crowd, including program chairs, faculty, staff, and students from various SBM programs such as BS in Hospitality Management (BSHM), BS in Tourism Management (BSTM), and BS in Entrepreneurship (BSEntrep). The venue was adorned with a classic black and white motif, setting a sophisticated backdrop for the evening’s festivities.

A parade of talents added vibrancy to the evening, showcasing the creativity and skills of the students. Special recognition was given to the student participants from the 11th CTHEZP Regional Congress and Skills Competition and the MASTS Friendship Games 2024, highlighting their outstanding achievements. One of the event’s highlights was the Search for Queen Palad-Palad 2024, where Mr. Christian Bañagaso from BSTM claimed the crown, adding a meaningful celebration of diversity to the event.

In addition to the pageant, special awards were given to students who were best dressed during the event, celebrating both style and spirit. The celebration marked the end of a successful academic year and provided an opportunity for the SBM community to come together in celebration, reflecting on their achievements and future aspirations. The event was a perfect mix of entertainment, recognition, and camaraderie, reinforcing the strong sense of community within the School of Business and Management of JHCSC.
