𝑺𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒓. 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒔. 𝑴𝑨𝑺𝑻𝑺 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝑪𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔

The Mr. and Ms. MASTS 2024 candidates officially kicked off their pageant journey with a sashing ceremony and press conference held today, November 23, 2024, at the 3rd Floor Conference Room of the I.T. Building, JHCSC Pagadian Extension Campus. The JHCSC Pageant Committee organized the event, co-chaired by Dr. Julito V. Mandac Jr. and Mr. Ernesto B. Medina Jr., marking the beginning of an exciting competition.

Fifteen pairs of candidates from various state universities and colleges (SUCs) participated in the event, representing institutions such as the University of Southern Philippines (USTP), Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU), Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST), Central Mindanao University (CMU), Davao del Norte State College (DNSC), Bukidnon State University (BukSu), Cotabato State University (CotSu), University of Southern Mindanao (USM), J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC), Western Mindanao State University (WMSU), Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT), Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology (CFCST), Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine Aquatics School of Technology (SPAMAST), Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU), and Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU). During the event, the candidates showcased their talent and wit as they answered questions from the pageant committee and engaged with Facebook Live viewers.

The candidates are now preparing for a series of competitive events leading to the coronation night on November 28, 2024. These events include a talent showcase, a regional attire competition, and closed-door interviews, all leading up to the crowning of Mr. and Ms. MASTS 2024. The coronation night will be at the Mega Gym, Dao Sports Complex, in Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur.
