The JHCSC College Officials convened for a meeting at Dapiwak, Dumingag Campus, Zamboanga del Sur on October 17, 2024. This meeting was presided over by the newly appointed Vice President for Administration and Finance (VPAF), Mr. Wilfredo M. Barnido Jr., CPA, along with Dr. Joel M. Sabellano Jr., Finance Director, and Dr. Moises Glenn Tangalin, Dumingag Campus Director.
The meeting brought together accountants from various JHCSC campuses, establishing a platform for collaborative dialogue on vital financial matters. They engaged in thorough discussions on a range of issues and concerns.
The following day, October 18, 2024, another meeting was convened, led by Dr. Cleofe A. Baterna Jr., Planning Director, and Dr. Joel M. Sabellano Jr. This meeting was attended by VPAF Barnido, Prof. Ricky A. Egos, Lakewood Campus Director; Mrs. Bemia Snooky Beboso, Main Campus Director; Atty. Romylyn Regidor, Dean of the School of Law; and Engr. Archel Bacus, Planning Officer III. Additionally, various administrative officers, accounting officers, and staff members were present at the gathering.
During the meeting, attendees discussed and introduced the newly constructed organizational structure, which was developed under the leadership of President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales and approved during the Board of Trustees (BOT) meeting on October 2, 2024. Furthermore, they concentrated on drafting the JHCSC finance manual, outlining key guidelines for effective financial management.
These meetings hold significant importance, signifying a pivotal moment for JHCSC. The discussions undertaken during this gathering will substantially influence the future operations and governance of the institution, establishing a foundation for a more structured and efficient approach.
