J.H. Cerilles State College organized an onboarding orientation for 22 newly hired employees out of over 300 applicants at JHCSC Library, Pagadian Annex on July 19, 2022. Arranged by the Human Resource Management Office headed by Dr. Julito V. Mandac, Jr., designated HRMO Director, the event aimed to integrate the new employees into the JHCSC community and equip them with relevant knowledge and skills in their working areas.
Dr. Joel M. Sabellano, Jr. (CAO), opened the event by emphasizing the importance of understanding one’s responsibilities, hard work, and the significance of teamwork. He likened the collaborative effort to producing honey, stating, “Knowing your task, hard work, and teamwork produce good honey (work) that would benefit the success of the organization.”
Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, President of JHCSC, took part as well in the onboarding, extending a warm welcome to the new employees, commending them for their achievements, and encouraging them to contribute positively to the institution.
The event proceeded with the Oath of Office and Assumption of Duty, led by President Rosales, which held great importance for the new JHCSC employees as they officially started their positions at the institution. The appointment signing further solidified their entry, marking the beginning of their journey as part of the JHCSC community.
The second part featured an orientation on Basic Customer Skills by Mr. Juda P. Cabalog and Leave Administration Policies by Mr. Kim M. Borja, both HR Officers.
The messages on hard work, teamwork, and dedication are carried forward to the new employees as they begin their journey with JHCSC. The institution looks forward to what they can offer and strongly believes in playing a significant role in advancing the mission and vision of JHCSC.
