The JHCSC celebrated the academic success of Dumingag Campus (Cluster 2) Class of 2024 graduates at its 25th Commencement Exercises on June 21, 2024, at Municipal Gymnasium, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur, with the theme “JHCSC Future Ready Graduates: The Genuine Response to the Challenges of the Industrial Revolution and Glocalization.”
JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales acknowledged and confirmed 560 graduates from various programs, presented by their respective School Deans. The diverse academic offerings included:

Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) – 16 Graduates
Master of Agricultural Development (MagDev) – 15 Graduates
Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA) – 40 Graduates
Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) – 99 Graduates
Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) – 27 Graduates
Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) – 57 Graduates
Bachelor of Information Technology (BSIT) – 80 Graduates
Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies (BAELS) – 78 Graduates
Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCrim) – 148 Graduates

Commencement Speaker Congresswoman Divina Grace C. Yu, 1st District Representative of Zamboanga del Sur, graced the ceremony with a video message and extended her warmest congratulations to the graduates despite being unable to attend in person due to a prior commitment with her son’s graduation.

Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, Vice President for Academic Affairs, acknowledged the two Academic Awardees from among 529 undergraduate programs Graduates: Mr. Jovanie P. Nibla from Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd), Major in English and Ms. Aueenie Marie M. Seno from Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCrim).
Mr. Jovanie P. Nibla, Cum Laude, BSCrim, in his valedictory address, said, “It’s okay to face challenges and to stumble along the way. Embrace your struggles. Through our imperfections where we can find our greatest strength,” encouraging his fellow graduates.
With moving performances of the Batch Song, the Mob Dance, and singing with the JHCSC Hymn, the ceremony ended with a photo opportunity and Recessional March.
The JHCSC’s 25th Commencement Exercises were a celebration of academic success and a testament to the institution’s commitment to producing competent and globally competitive graduates ready to face the challenges of the modern world.
