[In Photos] JHCSC Dumingag: Bacalaureate and Commencement Service, Tribute to Parents, Hooding Ceremony, Distribution of Diplomas to 560 Graduates and Recognition Rites

J.H. Cerilles State College Dumingag Campus held a ceremony to recognize the Class of 2024 Graduates Academic Achievements and to pay tribute to their Parents on June 19, 2024, at Municipal Gymnasium, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur.
Under the theme, “Celebrating a Lifetime of Gratitude and Triumphs: Honoring Parents’ Boundless Love and Sacrifices and Graduands’ Remarkable Achievements,” the morning program featured Baccalaureate Mass and Ecumenical Service.
The second part of the program was the Tribute to Parents, Hooding Ceremony, and Recognition Rites commenced by a processional march of the Graduates with their Parents, Staff and Faculty, Program Chairpersons, Deans, College Key Officials, and Guests.
The distinguished guests who witnessed the ceremony were Hon. Gerry Paglinawan, Municipal Mayor of Dumingag; Mr. Joseph Kim C. Yu, son of Provincial Governor Hon. Victor J. Yu and 1st District Representative Congresswoman Divina Grace C. Yu; Atty. Ruel S. Halanes, and Provincial Government Representative Glendell Oyo-a. Mr. Yu and Atty. Halanes were both of whom served as guest speakers.
Dr. Moises Glenn G. Tangalin, JHCSC Dumingag Campus Administrator, gave a word of welcome, “Always bring pride and honor to the school (JHCSC) with a humble heart and good attitude,” he said, addressing the students.

During the tribute to parents, Class of 2024 representatives from various JHCSC Schools gave words of gratitude to the parents, mentors, stakeholders, and co-students and responded by Class 2024 Parents Representative Mrs. Jane G. Cabresos, and Myrna P. Perigo, MaEd, the representative on behalf of JHCSC Dumingag Faculty.
JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales said during his message, “We dreamed 90% of the graduates will have work two years from now,” inspiring the students to use their knowledge and skills in job hunting. He added, “Wherever you go, whatever you do, you’re bringing the name of JHCSC,” requesting the students to protect the integrity and credibility of the institution.
The Investiture Hooding for MAEd and MagDev and Distribution of Diplomas to the JHCSC Dumingag Class of 2024 Graduates was facilitated by President Rosales, along with the Deans and Honorable Guests.
The ceremony ended with a sense of accomplishment and pride as the graduates celebrated their academic successes and looked forward to the opportunities ahead, carrying the legacy of JHCSC.
