J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) commemorated National Flag Day with ceremonies across all its Campuses. Each campus hosted a short program during its Flag Raising Ceremony today, June 03, 2024, highlighting the significance and history of our Philippine Flag.
Faculty, staff, and students from the Main Campus, Pagadian Annex, led by Campus Administrator Dr. Patricia D. Bahian, the Canuto Campus, guided by Campus Administrator Ricky A. Egos, and the Dumingag Campus, under the leadership of Dr. Moises Glenn G. Tangalin, actively participated in these meaningful events.
At the Main Campus, Chief Administrative Officer Dr. Joel M. Sabellano, Jr. delivered a message emphasizing our Flag’s symbolic significance. “For me, the Flag represents our country, and before this became the symbol of our country, it had many stories,” he stated, reminding everyone that our Philippine Flag is more than a symbol. It is a reflection of sacrifices and triumphs.
JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales strongly advocated for the observance of the National Flag Day Celebration across all campuses to manifest the Nationalism and Patriotism that our Flag embodies.
The ceremonies reflected JHCSC’s commitment to fostering a deep sense of national pride and unity among its academic community.
