EMB IX and JHCSC Collaborate for Successful Environmental Impact Assessment Stakeholders Orientation

The Environmental Management Bureau Region 9, spearheaded by the Clearance and Permitting Division (CPD-EIAS) Team of EMB IX, conducted an Orientation on Environmental Impact Assessment EIA Stakeholders in collaboration with J.H. Cerilles State College.
The orientation was on June 01, 2024, at JHCSC Main Campus, Mati San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur, where JHCSC faculty, staff, and students from the Master of Science in Environmental Resources Management (MSERM) and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BSES) programs actively participated.
It aimed to enhance stakeholder involvement in the EIA process under Presidential Decree 1586, also known as the Philippine Environmental Impact Statement System (PEISS).
