JHCSC officials, under the leadership of President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, convened a crucial meeting with TESDA Zamboanga del Sur, led by Provincial Director Miraluna Baje-Lopez. The primary objective of this gathering was to identify employees within the institution who hold the National Certificate (NC) and Trainers Methodology Certificate (TMC). Additionally, it aimed to gauge the interest of employees in acquiring these certificates, particularly in their areas of specialization.
The meeting, held on October 4, 2023, at the Conference Room on the 3rd floor of the JHCSC Pagadian Annex Campus, spearheaded by the College Extension Services Office headed by Extension Director Mr. Ricky A. Egos was attended by various key figures, including JHCSC-VPAA Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, College Deans Dr. Frederick F. Grengia (SAS), Dr. Julito V. Mandac Jr. (SBM) , Engr. Perla A. Rivera (SET), Dr. Mark E. Patalinghug (SOCJE), Dr. Starr Clyde L. Sebial (STE) and Dr. Teonita Y. Velasco (SAFES), Dumingag Campus Administrator Dr. Moises Glenn G. Tangalin, as well as program chairs, faculty members and staff from different departments of the institution.
This gathering is designed to foster the development of knowledge, skills, and work values among learners in alignment with prevailing standards in the technical and vocational education and training (TVET) sector. It is a testament to the institution’s commitment to the continuous growth and enhancement of its workforce.
