Launching and Implementation of SBM Community Extension Services to the Unemployed Citizens of Barangay Bogo in Pagadian City

The School of Business and Management (SBM) organized an extension activity in Barangay Bogo, Pagadian City, where the barangay served as the adopted beneficiary. This initiative featured a Farm to Table Skills Training program that made use of research outputs created by students. The event was held at the HM Lab, JHCSC Pagadian Annex, and the Barangay Bogo Covered Court in Pagadian City on September 22-23, 2023.

Dr. Myrna V. Ceño, the Project Leader, underscored the importance of these activities in the realm of entrepreneurship, with a specific focus on marketing and product development. The program included the production of items like Banana Blossom Pizza, Banana Blossom Cookies, and Coconut Sap Brownies.

Present at the event were JHCSC Key Officials, including the Extension Director, Mr. Ricky A. Egos, SBM Dean, Dr. Julito V. Mandac Jr, Planning Officer, Engr. Rodrigo P. Millares Jr, as well as the entire SBM Faculty, Staff, and student body. This endeavor reflects SBM’s steadfast commitment to community engagement, skill enhancement, and the advancement of entrepreneurship within the local community.
