J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Delegation, headed by Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, College President, arrived today, October 25, 2025, in Tudela, Misamis Occidental, for the Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) 2025 Friendship Games and Socio-Cultural Festival to be held in Oroquieta City from October 25 to 31, 2025.

The delegation, composed of athletes, coaches, faculty, and staff, received a warm welcome from the people of Tudela and is billeted at Tudela Central Elementary School, which will serve as their home throughout the duration of the event.

Tudela, a municipality of more than 29,000 Tudelanians, is known for its famous pineapple pie, the colorful Binalbal Festival celebrated every January 1, its vibrant Subanen village, and its rich aquamarine resources.
Mayor Estela Obut-Estano personally welcomed the JHCSC delegates, expressing her delight and support for their participation in the regional event. โ€œWe are delighted to host the JHCSC delegation. Tudela opens its doors with warmth and friendship, and we hope you enjoy your stay with us,โ€ Mayor Estano said.

The faculty, staff, and students of Tudela Central Elementary School also extended their hospitality, greeting the delegation with smiles, local delicacies, and a short cultural presentation that showcased the townโ€™s traditions and community spirit.

Dr. Rosales expressed his gratitude to Mayor Estano, the local government of Tudela, and the host school for their warm reception and accommodation, highlighting that the JHCSC delegation is ready to carry the collegeโ€™s banner with pride, unity, and sportsmanship throughout the week-long MASTS 2025 Friendship Games and Socio-Cultural Festival.

Soar high, J.H. Cerilles State College!
