Esther Marie Ringon and Vice President for Administration and Finance (VPAF) Mr. Wilfredo M. Barnido, Jr., attended the General Assembly and Turnover Ceremony held on February 12, 2025, at the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Auditorium in Diliman, Quezon City. The event gathered Presidents and Board Secretaries of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) under the leadership of Hon. Ronald L. Adamat, marking the conclusion of Hon. Adamatโs term as CHED Commissioner and the official leadership transition to Dr. Desiderio R. Apag III.
This assembly was a critical event in the transition process since it offered a platform for accomplishments and initiatives undertaken during the tenure of Hon. Adamat as Commissioner and also the official occasion for formally transferring his responsibilities to Dr. Apag III, the newly appointed Commissioner, signifying the start of a new era for the Commission. Additionally, it provided a vital opportunity to reflect on collective achievements, engage in discussions on the future direction of CHED, and strengthen the partnership between CHED and the SUCs.
The attendance of the Presidents and Board Secretaries of the SUCs under Commissioner Adamatโs leadership played a vital role in ensuring the eventโs success, reaffirming their commitment to advancing higher education in the Philippines.
On behalf of the JHCSC System, President Rosales thanked Comm. Adamat for his transformative leadership, dedicated service, and valuable contributions as JHCSCโs Board of Trustees Designate Chairman.
