J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC), under the visionary leadership of President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, joins the nation in celebrating National Arts Month 2025. Themed “Ani ng Sining, Diwa at Damdamin,” this nationwide celebration is spearheaded by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) by Proclamation No. 683, signed in 1991 by then-President Corazon Aquino.

JHCSC will conduct various artistic and cultural activities throughout February across its Main, Pagadian City Extension, Dumingag, and Lakewood campuses to honor this annual event. At the Main Campus, its Student Supreme Council will lead the month-long festivities, featuring a lineup of engaging events:
February 07, 2025 – Launching Program (Morning)
February 14, 2025 – Dilaab 2025
February 21, 2025 – Padula 2025
February 28, 2025 – Kamaisan Festival 2025 (National Arts Month Culmination – Afternoon)

Mr. Joseph Salimbangon, the institution’s Culture and the Arts Director, shared that, in addition to the events at the Main Campus, the Dumingag, Lakewood, and Pagadian City Extension Campuses will also hold their own scheduled activities in celebration of National Arts Month.

Through these events, JHCSC aims to highlight the importance of arts and culture in shaping identity and fostering creativity. The institution invites students, faculty, and the community to participate in this meaningful celebration—an opportunity to showcase artistic talents, deepen appreciation for Filipino heritage, and contribute to promoting and preserving the arts.

Soar high, J.H. Cerilles State College!
