JHCSC Main Campus holds its first ever B.O.N.D.I.N.G. Team Building in Dapiwak, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur

J.H. Cerilles State College has conducted a two-day team building event called B.O.N.D.I.N.G. – Believe, Observe, Nurture, Develop, Inspire, Never Give Up at JHCSC Dapiwak, Dumingag Campus. Led by JHCSC President, Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, the said activity primarily aims to foster greater camaraderie and teamwork among participants.

The event was organized by the Human Resource Management Office headed by Mr. Kim Borja, HR Officer. Together with them was the School of Business and Management faculty and staff who facilitated the team-building games and activities led by Dr. Julito V. Mandac, Jr., SBM Dean. Among the participants were the heads of offices, administration, faculty, and staff from JHCSC Main Campus and Pagadian Annex.

The event kicked off on Friday, August 2, 2024, in which activities included some engaging and fun team-building games and a bonfire where the participants formed a bond that assisted them in connecting with one another and developing their collaborative skills.

The activity culminated with the awarding ceremony, in which impressions of the activity were shared among the staff, faculty, and heads of offices. It was then followed by an inspiring message from Dr. Rosales, stating the values of B.O.N.D.I.N.G.— working in unison, believing in one another, and inspiring each other in nurturing and developing a much stronger and bolder JHCSC.

In the closing program, the head of offices gave their message as well starting with the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Vilma C. Grengia stated that this event has helped JHCSC employees grow in a way and reflected equality between offices of participants. Meanwhile, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Resource Generation, Dr. Jerry B. Superales also thanked all the participants who joined and contributed to the said activity.

Dr. Moises Glenn G. Tangalin, JHCSC Dumingag Campus Administrator gave his thoughts and stated that he was proud to be the host of the said activity, praising everybody for coming over and showing their spirits. And lastly, the efforts exerted by the organizing team, particularly the host school were commended by Dr. Joel M. Sabellano, Jr., Chief Administrative Officer.

The team building event – B.O.N.D.I.N.G. promptly exhibited bonding between teammates; hence, it is imprinted in the minds of every participant. This has been an assurance and a factor that proved JHCSC’s undertaking toward creating holistic individuals courtesy of Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales.
