JHCSC Canuto MS Enerio Campus Celebrates 2nd Grand Alumni Homecoming After 12 Years

JH Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Canuto MS Enerio Campus in Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur, recently hosted its 2nd Grand Alumni Homecoming after a 12-year hiatus. Themed “Rekindling Memories, Celebrating Achievements: Together Again at JHCSC-CMSE!” the two-day event was spearheaded by Mr. Ricky A. Egos, the JHCSC Canuto Campus Administrator, alongside his dedicated faculty and staff, including Mrs. Jeverly Tess O. Mosqueda, the JHCSC Canuto Alumni Relations In-charge. The event started on July 10, 2024, with the blessing of classrooms and offices at both the JHCSC Canuto Biswangan and Poblacion campuses, setting a tone of gratitude and excitement.
The second day was highlighted by a lively motorcade that began in Biswangan and ended at the Poblacion campus, signifying the unity of the alumni. The motorcade was followed by an opening program at the Poblacion campus and a series of engaging and entertaining mini-games. Mrs. Jeverly Tess O. Mosqueda (Alumni In-Charge) then led a general meeting to review the Constitution and By-Laws (CBL) with Alumni Administrator Mr. Christian Baya and designated BOT Secretary Mr. Kim M. Borja assisting. Following that, an election was called for a new set of officers for the BaLakeCAT Alumni Association.

The event ended with an evening of talent and entertainment, featuring singing and dancing contests and raffle draws, followed by the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected officers. This 2nd Grand Alumni Homecoming at JHCSC Canuto MS Enerio Campus was a great success, bringing alumni together to celebrate their shared history and achievements while looking forward to a future of continued collaboration and growth.
