JHCSC SBM Class of 2024 Tribute to Parents, Teachers, and Benefactors, Distribution of Diplomas to 79 Graduates and Recognition Rites

J.H. Cerilles State College School of Business Management (SBM) at Pagadian Annex held a heartfelt event yesterday, June 16, 2024, at Pavilion Hall, Dao, Pagadian City, to pay tributes to the parents, teachers, and benefactors BSHM Class 2024, and the distribution of the graduate’s diplomas and awarding of academic distinction and departmental awards.
The program commenced with the Processional March of Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) program Batch 2024 Graduates with their proud parents or guardians, Pagadian Annex Administrators, and SBM Faculty Members.
Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), delivered an inspiring message dedicated to the graduates, parents, and all who contributed to the success of the SBM Graduating Class 2024. She encouraged the graduates, saying, “Embrace the challenges, seek out knowledge, and utilize the resources available to you.”
Dr. Patricia D. Bahian, Pagadian Annex Campus Administrator, also gave a message of encouragement to the graduates and gratitude to the benefactors, faculty, and parents. Addressing the parents directly, she remarked, “Dear Parents, thank you for believing in your children and JHCSC for being the constant pillar of their success.”

The tribute highlights included a video presentation compiled by the Graduates expressing gratitude to their parents; graduates presented flowers to their parents or guardians, alongside tokens of appreciation to the faculty, accompanied by a tribute song; and tribute messages from their Class 2024 Representatives to express gratitude to the parents, teachers, and benefactors.
Dr. Julito V. Mandac, Jr., in his congratulatory message, emphasized the importance of attitude in professionalism, stating, “No matter how intelligent we are, how pleasing our physical appearance is, how higher our position is, it is always the attitude that sets the atmosphere of professionalism.”
The ceremony celebrated academic success and underscored the significance of mentorship and community within the SBM experience. As graduates embark on their careers, they carry the gratitude and support of their Alma Mater, J.H. Cerilles State College, under the leadership of President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales.
