The Management Information System Technology Office (MISTO), led by Director Mr. Ronald Luste, organized an Information Systems Strategic Plan Seminar-Workshop on March 13-14, 2024, at the New Roxan Hotel in Pagadian City. The event drew JHCSC executives, administrators, deans, and directors. Renowned specialists from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) were among the attendees as resource speakers.
JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales delivered a keynote address, emphasizing the imperative of crafting an institutional strategic plan for JHCSC in 2025–2030 to navigate the digital landscape and meet the challenges posed by the influx of artificial intelligence and the Industrial Revolution. He urged participants to embrace continuous learning and proactive implementation strategies.
Resource speakers, Mr. Jonathan O. Jacobo, Digital Information Director at USTP Cagayan de Oro City, and Ms. Grace T. Amberong, IT Consultant at CIOF Foundation, Inc., shared invaluable insights during the seminar. Ms. Amberong delved into the nuances of ISSP development, leading participants through an engaging workshop focused on the JHCSC ISSP 2025-2030.
The seminar concluded with participants presenting their output from the workshop. In recognition of their expertise and contributions, JHCSC presented certificates of appreciation to the esteemed speakers, expressing gratitude for their knowledge-sharing endeavors.
