In observance of Proclamation No. 1164, series of 1998, JH Cerilles State College headed by President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales actively joined the Regional Development Council (RDC) IX celebration of the RDC Week starting today, 25-26, and 29 September, 2023 at the NEDA Regional Office IX compound, President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Government Center, Balintawak, Pagadian City.
This yearβs RDC Week activities include βTunog ng Progresoβ dance challenge. The event kicked off with a motorcade followed by the Opening Program attended by RDC IX Chairperson and Zamboanga City Mayor Hon. John M. Dalipe together with NEDA IX Regional Director and JHCSC Board of Trustees (BOT) Member Dr. Phlorita A. Ridao.
The RDC plays a crucial role in coordinating and setting the direction for economic and social development in the region, including the academic sector. It serves as a platform for aligning local initiatives with regional and national development efforts, fostering cooperation among various stakeholders to promote holistic regional development.
Accompanying President Rosales at the event were other key individuals from JHCSC, including OIC-CAO Dr. Joel M. Sabellano Jr.,HRMO Dr. Julito V. Mandac Jr., and Lakewood Campus Administrator and Extension Director Mr. Ricky A. Egos. This collaborative effort between the college and regional development initiatives demonstrates a commitment to progress and development in the region.
