JHCSC Pagadian Campus marked another milestone with the unveiling of its outdoor LED wall installed in front of the JHCSC Hostel on April 10, 2026, following the earlier unveiling of the LED wall at the Main Campus under the leadership of President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales. The installation signifies the institution’s continued commitment to modernization and effective information dissemination as it moves forward in its transition toward universityhood.
The event gathered distinguished guests and officials, including Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Commissioner Dr. Desiderio R. Apag III, Atty. Peter Lloyd Carpio, Chairperson and Chief Legal Officer, LLMD – CHED Central Office, and Dr. Joseph Lou C. Sta. Teresa, Technical Division Chief of CHED Region IX. Also present were members of the Board of Trustees, Atty. Esther Marie S. Ringon, BOT Secretary Designate and Chief Legal Officer, campus directors, and heads of offices, who witnessed the significant development for the Pagadian Campus.
A blessing ceremony for the newly installed LED wall was led by Mr. Dominic Sarayan, who highlighted the facility’s importance to the campus community. In her message, Pagadian Campus Director Dr. Patricia D. Bahian expressed her gratitude for the successful realization of the project and extended her appreciation to the administration for its continued support in strengthening the campus’ facilities and services.
President Rosales emphasized that the outdoor LED wall symbolizes progress as JHCSC advances toward university status. He noted that the facility will serve as a vital platform for transparent communication and the timely dissemination of information to JHCSCians. He also shared the administration’s vision for future infrastructure projects to further develop JHCSC’s “Shining Star” campus.
Meanwhile, CHED Commissioner Apag commended the administration for its swift action in fulfilling its commitments and acknowledged the collective efforts of those who contributed to the project’s success. He also expressed his continued support for the institution’s initiatives, assuring that he will always stand behind programs and developments that promote the growth and advancement of JHCSC.
Beyond its technological function, the LED wall also reflects the institution’s commitment to environmental consciousness by reducing the use of printed tarpaulins and other disposable materials. Through this initiative, JHCSC strengthens its efforts to promote sustainable practices while providing an efficient, modern avenue for public information dissemination.
