𝐁𝐒𝐓𝐌 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 “𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐠” 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲
The Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) Batch “Aninag” of J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) held its first-ever pinning ceremony on January 28, 2026. The event symbolized the students’ readiness to enter professional practice in the tourism industry. It was led by BSTM Program Chair Prof. Julie R. Cabalog, under the guidance of the Dean of the School of Business and Management, Dr. Julito V. Mandac, Jr., with the support of JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, whom the Pagadian Extension Campus Director, Dr. Patricia D. J. Bahian, represented.

The J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) campuses held a series of recognition activities honoring the 2025 Board and Civil Service passers. The program was spearheaded by Prof. Venus Avenido, Dean of the Office of the Student Affairs and Support Services (OSASS), and was facilitated by the OSASS Department Heads of each campus, with the support of the visionary leadership of President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales. The activity recognized the academic achievements of JHCSCians who successfully passed their respective licensure and eligibility examinations.

The School of Teacher Education (STE) successfully held the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing for the Adopt-a-Subanen Student Project (ASSP). It formalized its partnership with the Catalyst Pro Tutorial and Review Center (CPTRC) on January 23, 2025, at the JHCSC Main Campus Gymnasium in Mati, San Miguel. The event was attended by school administrators, faculty members, students, parents, and partner institutions. It was led by Dean Dr. Starr Clyde L. Sebial, with the support of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, highlighting the school’s commitment to collaborative and inclusive educational initiatives.

J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC), led by President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, conducted an online exploratory meeting with Chiang Mai University (CMU), represented by Dr. Tonapha Pusadee, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation of the Faculty of Agriculture, on January 21, 2026, via Zoom. The meeting aimed to initiate formal engagement between the two institutions to explore potential areas of collaboration.

President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales led a Faculty Development Seminar conducted across the campuses of J.H. Cerilles State College, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to the continuous professional development of its faculty members. Serving as the resource speaker, President Rosales facilitated discussions focused on strengthening instructional competence and enhancing teaching and learning assessment practices in support of institutional academic standards.
