VISION

J.H. CERILLES STATE COLLEGE is in the forefront of community development particularly at the Barangay level. As leader institution, it is a vital force in the development of citizens who are capable of improving lives and the community.

MISSION

J.H. CERILLES STATE COLLEGE being an educational institution is tasked to be a change agent in an identified community whose main thrust is to institute community and extension projects and outreach services.

STE GOALS

The School of Teacher Education commits to develop globally competitive graduates with a high sense of desirable values dedicated to the promotion of a just humane society.

SET GOALS

The School of Engineering and Technology aims to produce graduates that can respond to IT industry and be professional in the use of technologies pursuant to the Mission and Vision of the School. They are expected to:

A. Have acquired technical skills;
B. Have integrity, social awareness and specialized ability; and
C. Be flexible to the workplace.

School of Engineering and Technology (SET) Extension Objectives:

1. To enhance the computer capability of the Out-of-School Youth (OSY) from Barangay Laperian, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur and be ready for whatever challenge in terms of technology;
2. To provide fast and accurate processing of transaction; and
3. To assist municipal/barangay officials in their daily operation.

SAS GOALS

The School of Arts and Sciences aims to develop well-rounded professionals by giving them sufficient knowledge with the Arts and Sciences, contribute to the enrichment of existing national effort in the transformation process towards culture of peace and development, assume leadership role in the collection and preservation of the cultural heritage of Zamboanga Peninsula, and initiate curricular development in response to the needs of cultural communities.

SAFES GOALS

The School of Agriculture, Forestry, and Environmental Studies assumes a prime role in pursuing a culture of excellence in agriculture instruction, research, extension, and production activities. It endeavors to train morally upright men and women who will be leaders and workers in the various fields of agriculture education, science and technology.
