College Admission Test (CAT) Online Application Guide

  1. Create a Gmail Account

    Create a new Gmail account using the following format

    lastname.firstname@gmail.com
  2. Prepare the Required Documents

    Prepare clear scanned copies of the required documents and save them in PDF format.

    Senior High School Graduating Students

    • Certification from the School Principal or Registrar certifying that the applicant is currently enrolled as a Grade 12 student and/or a candidate for graduation.

    Senior High School Graduates

    • Report Card (Form 138-A) with complete grades in Grade 11 (First and Second Semesters) and Grade 12 (First and Second Semesters).

    Alternative Learning System (ALS) Passers

    • Certificate of Rating and Certificate of Graduation.

    Transferees

    • Transcript of Records (TOR) or Certificate of Enrolment for applicants who are currently enrolled.

  3. Create Your JHCSC Admission Account

    Step 3.1: Account Registration

    1. Click “Create Cloud Account.”
    2. Use the new email address you created for your application.
    3. Select your preferred testing site based on the location nearest or most convenient to you.
    Note: Your preferred testing site does not necessarily have to correspond to the program/course you intend to apply for.

    After creating your Cloud Account, please wait for technical validation by the JHCSC Technical Support Staff. Once approved, your username and password or account confirmation will be sent to your email address.

    Important: The system allows only one (1) account per applicant. Duplicate accounts will be automatically ignored and deleted.

    Step 3.2: Navigating the Admission Portal

    Once you receive your account credentials, log in to your JHCSC Admission Account.

    After logging in:

    1. Locate the Menu icon () at the upper-left portion of the portal.
    2. Provide the required information under the following sections:

      • Personal Information
      • Educational Background
      • Emergency Contact Information

      Please double-check all entries before saving your application.

    3. Make sure that all information provided is accurate and complete.
    4. Enter “NA or None” for fields that are not applicable or have no answer.
    5. Review all information carefully before leaving each section.
    6. Click “Save” after completing each section.

    Step 3.3: Upload the Required Documents

    1. Click “Admission Attachment” in the portal.
    2. Upload the required documentary requirements in PDF format.
    3. Make sure that all scanned documents are clear, readable, complete, and properly oriented.
    4. After uploading the documents, click “Save” to complete the process.
    File Naming Format: FamilyName-FirstName-MiddleName.pdf
    Example: DelaCruz-Juan-Pedro.pdf
    Important: Ensure that documents are properly scanned and saved as PDF files before uploading.

  4. Application Validation

    After submitting your application and required documents, please wait for validation by the Admissions and Testing Office.

    You may log in to your JHCSC Admission Account to check your application status and monitor updates or instructions.

  5. Approved Applicants

    Applicants accepted and confirmed to take the CAT must observe the following guidelines on exam day:

    Items to Bring

    • Pencil
    • Ballpen
    • Valid ID with picture

    Prescribed Attire

    • Plain white T-shirt
    • Long pants
    • Closed shoes

  6. After Taking the CAT

    Applicants will be informed of their scores/results through their admission portal.

    Applicants who successfully pass the CAT and meet the cut-off score set by the School of their chosen program shall undergo an interview and program entry examination, if required by the program.
