Two faculty members from J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) participated in the \ud835\udfd0\ud835\udc8f\ud835\udc85 \ud835\udc74\ud835\udc8a\ud835\udc8f\ud835\udc85\ud835\udc82\ud835\udc8f\ud835\udc82\ud835\udc90 \ud835\udc70\ud835\udc8f\ud835\udc95\ud835\udc86\ud835\udc93\ud835\udc6a\ud835\udc96\ud835\udc8d\ud835\udc95\ud835\udc96\ud835\udc93\ud835\udc82\ud835\udc8d \ud835\udc6c\ud835\udc99\ud835\udc84\ud835\udc89\ud835\udc82\ud835\udc8f\ud835\udc88\ud835\udc86\ud835\udc94 (\ud835\udc74\ud835\udc70\ud835\udc6a\ud835\udc6c) contemporary theater workshop held from June 26-28, 2025, at the Function Hall of Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU) \u2013 Dipolog Campus.<\/div>\n

Mr. Joseph Salimbangon, the Institutional Socio-Cultural Focal Person, and Mr. Jerwin Rey P. Alcoseba, the Physical Education Instructor, represented JHCSC in the three-day event that gathered artists, educators, and scholars to explore contemporary and intercultural performance approaches and practices.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The workshop, hosted by JRMSU\u2019s External Affairs, Linkages, and Resource Generation Office, featured practical sessions and collaborative discussions to enhance participants\u2019 innovative performance techniques in the theater.\n<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

MICE is a project of the \ud835\udc8a\ud835\udc8f\ud835\udc70\ud835\udc7b\ud835\udc70\ud835\udc82\ud835\udc95\ud835\udc86 \ud835\udc77\ud835\udc6f \ud835\udc68\ud835\udc93\ud835\udc95\ud835\udc8a\ud835\udc94\ud835\udc95 \ud835\udc6a\ud835\udc90\ud835\udc8d\ud835\udc8d\ud835\udc86\ud835\udc84\ud835\udc95\ud835\udc8a\ud835\udc97\ud835\udc86, composed of Filipino alumni and students of the Intercultural Theatre Institute in Singapore. The initiative aims to provide platforms for learning contemporary theater.\n<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The participation of Mr. Salimbangon and Mr. Alcoseba supports the college\u2019s thrust to strengthen cultural programming, enrich instruction in physical education and performing arts, and foster a broader appreciation for intercultural collaboration.<\/div>\n
