The JHCSC Dumingag Campus proudly held its 2025 Commencement Exercises for the graduating class, Batch Hiraya, on June 17, 2025, at the Municipal Gymnasium, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur. With the theme \u201cIgniting Innovation and Inspiring Sustainable Growth Towards 25 Years of Academic Excellence,\u201d the event gathered JHCSC officials, deans, faculty, staff, graduates, parents, and esteemed guests, including the representative of Hon. Senator Christopher Lawrence \u201cBong\u201d T. Go\u2014First District City Councilor Hon. Dr. Ariel Jeanjaquet Lim.\n<\/div>\n

CHED Commissioner Dr. Desiderio R. Apag III, D.Eng, PCpE, served as the keynote speaker, delivering a rousing message to the graduates: \u201cGraduation is not the finish line. It is a powerful launchpad. And your next mission is to ignite, inspire, and impact.\u201d He further urged them, \u201cLet your brilliance serve. Let your skills heal. Let your mind build. But above all, let your heart lead.\u201d He emphasized that while graduation marks the completion of academic training, it is only the beginning of a greater calling that challenges graduates to use their knowledge with compassion, purpose, and leadership. <\/div>\n

A heartfelt student address was delivered by Cum Laude Ms. Richell Alia Labastida, who shared her journey of balancing motherhood and academics. With unwavering courage, she declared, \u201cI never surrendered,\u201d emphasizing that her passion for education remained firm despite the challenges and never allowed her circumstances to compromise her dreams.<\/div>\n

A milestone highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of diplomas and official Transcripts of Records (TORs) to all graduates\u2014a first in JHCSC history. This forward-thinking move aims to help new alums pursue employment immediately after graduation.<\/div>\n

The program concluded with the singing of the batch song and a final tribute performance. With pride, resilience, and a shared vision for the future, Batch Hiraya of the JHCSC Dumingag Campus now moves forward\u2014ready to make a difference in the world.<\/div>\n
