The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) conducted the National Competency Level III (NC III) Assessment in Horticulture from February 15-16, 2025, at the JHCSC Main Campus Community Extension Services Office. This event followed the previous assessment carried out from February 7-9, 2025.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

A total of 36 third-year students from the School of Agriculture, Forestry, and Environmental Studies (SAFES) at the Dumingag Campus participated in the assessment, all of whom earned a perfect passing rate. In total, 96 students took part over two separate assessment periods, with 60 of them being second-year students.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The initiative was led by Extension Director Prof. Ricky Aranas Egos, with strong support from Dean Dr. Jerry B. Superales, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Resource Generation (VPRERG), and JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, a passionate advocate for the growth of technical-vocational education.<\/div>\n
