The J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Community Extension Services Office awarded piglets to five non-working and indigent citizens of Barangay White Beach, Pagadian City, at the JHCSC-Canuto, MS Enerio Campus’ multiplier farm on February 15, 2025. The activity was led by Extension Director Prof. Ricky Aranas Egos and facilitated by one of the project leaders of the TABANGE Program, Dr. Myrna V. Ce\u00f1o, DBM-HM.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The recipients, accompanied by Barangay Deputy Martin Canoy, were chosen to receive the piglets as part of JHCSC’s ongoing effort to enhance the livelihoods of marginalized community members. This initiative is designed to help them establish sustainable sources of income by utilizing livestock, offering economic growth and food security. <\/div>\n

The program encourages responsible livestock management, enabling the participants to develop skills that lead to long-term self-sufficiency.
\nThis initiative aims to increase livestock potential within the community, allowing citizens to improve their economic standing. By offering these resources, JHCSC seeks to promote a sustainable and responsible approach to resource utilization, strengthening the community’s ability to thrive independently.<\/div>\n
