A faculty member from the School of Teacher Education (STE), Ralph R. Magumpara, MSciEd, is currently participating in a distinguished international study exchange program at Chiba University, Japan, from February 5 to 11, 2025. This opportunity is supported by the Chiba University, Japan, which has played a pivotal role in facilitating his involvement in this global academic initiative. The program he participated in was the \u201cYoung Human Resources and Development of Teaching Materials for Physical Science Education\u201d program, a key component of the Sakura Science Exchange Program.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The international exchange program brings together top universities from across Asia, including Taiwan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, and the Philippines, fostering cross-cultural collaboration in science education. Scholars from countries such as Nigeria, Sweden, Italy, and the United States were also invited to participate in the program, enhancing the program\u2019s global reach and reinforcing efforts to develop innovative, Japanese-inspired teaching strategies in physical science education.\n<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Mr. Magumpara\u2019s research, Agham Inquiry Task (AIT) in Teaching Fluid Mechanics Education: Improving a Logical Approach through Sci-vestigative Pedagogical Strategy (SPS), aims to enhance fluid mechanics instruction through a structured, investigative approach. He is also involved in the TWINCLE Program (Physics Experiment) and will present his SDG-based research at the Asia and ASEAN Center for Educational Research Annual Meeting, contributing to global discussions on sustainability and physics education.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Mr. Magumpara\u2019s dedication to advancing science education inspires both students and colleagues. His involvement in the prestigious international program underscores his commitment to improving global science education. Supported by the University of San Carlos and J.H. Cerilles State College, he is championing innovative teaching practices that could shape the future of education worldwide.<\/div>\n
