The Planning and Development Office (PDO), led by Dr. Cleofe A. Baterna, Jr., held a meeting on January 17, 2025, to align and present the institution\u2019s Strategic Plan for 2025\u20132023. Chaired by Finance Director Dr. Joel M. Sabellano, Jr., the session was held at the JHCSC Hostel in the Pagadian City Extension Campus, marking a significant step in the college\u2019s journey toward achieving universityhood.<\/div>\n

The meeting gathered key officials, including Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Jerry B. Superales, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Resource Generation; Hon. Glady C. Quirante, FFASA President; Mr. Kim Borja, Human Resource Management Officer; and Atty. Princess Rosal B. Inclan, Legal Officer. Together, they evaluated and refined the strategic initiatives needed to fulfill the institution\u2019s academic and developmental aspirations.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Eleven strategic goals for universityhood were unveiled during the meeting, highlighting a comprehensive approach to institutional advancement. These goals include strengthening partnerships, raising academic program quality, increasing access for Indigenous Peoples and disadvantaged students, and implementing internationalization initiatives. They also emphasize producing global and future-ready professionals, supporting faculty research, enhancing community engagement, promoting innovation, ensuring effective financial management, and fostering faculty and staff development. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Additionally, the goals focus on creating more significant opportunities for students, ensuring their employability, and producing skilled workers equipped for global challenges. These objectives collectively aim to elevate the college into a stronger and more dynamic institution, ready to deliver excellence on its path to universityhood.<\/div>\n
