The Planning and Development Office (PDO) of J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) held its final session on the Land Use Development and Infrastructure Plan (LUDIP) for the years 2027-2032 on November 12, 2024, at the Caridad, JHCSC Dumingag Campus Quality Assurance Office. The session focused on the prioritization of key projects under the plan, followed by a land inspection at the Dapiwak area within the Dumingag Campus. The session was led by Dr. Cleofe A. Baterna, Jr., PDO Director, with For. Larnie L. Galiste, LUDIP Focal Person, facilitated the discussions.<\/div>\n

Among the attendees were Dr. Moises Glenn Tangalin, Dumingag Campus Director; Dr. Mark Patalinghug, Dean of the School of Criminal Justice (SOCJE); Mr. Eliezer Ocay, Supply Officer; Mr. Abundio Cabahug, Program Chair of the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture; Mr. Herby Pacalioga, School Farming Manager; and Ms. Rowena Libot, Research Staff. Engr. Reymark E. Calago also participated in the session.<\/div>\n

Dr. Tangalin shared his thoughts on the LUDIP initiative, highlighting the vast land area of the Dumingag Campus and the potential for resource optimization. He expressed his hopes for the success of the implementation of the plan in the coming years and also sent his gratitude to \ud835\udc09\ud835\udc07\ud835\udc02\ud835\udc12\ud835\udc02 \ud835\udc0f\ud835\udc2b\ud835\udc1e\ud835\udc2c\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc1d\ud835\udc1e\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc2d \ud835\udc03\ud835\udc2b. \ud835\udc04\ud835\udc1d\ud835\udc20\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc2b\ud835\udc1d\ud835\udc28 \ud835\udc07. \ud835\udc11\ud835\udc28\ud835\udc2c\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc25\ud835\udc1e\ud835\udc2c and \ud835\udc06\ud835\udc28\ud835\udc2f\ud835\udc1e\ud835\udc2b\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc28\ud835\udc2b \ud835\udc15\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc1c\ud835\udc2d\ud835\udc28\ud835\udc2b \ud835\udc09. \ud835\udc18\ud835\udc2e, for their support in moving the project forward.<\/div>\n

After the session, the group conducted a land inspection at the Dapiwak site. The inspection provided an opportunity to assess the land’s suitability for future infrastructure projects. Attendees also discussed the challenges and solutions related to the campus\u2019 land use and development needs.<\/div>\n

The LUDIP prioritization aims to strategically manage JHCSC\u2019s land and infrastructure to meet the institution’s growing demands. The plan seeks to align upcoming developments with the college\u2019s mission and long-term goals, ensuring that infrastructure projects are necessary and sustainable. By focusing on key developments, the LUDIP will support the academic and administrative growth of JHCSC over the next decade.<\/div>\n
