The Oath Taking and Turn Over Ceremony for the new SSC officers was held today, September 9, 2024, at the Main Campus Gymnasium, Mati, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur. The event, held under the theme \u201cStanding Stronger and Bolder in the Call for Service,\u201d marked a significant transition as the new officers assumed their roles and responsibilities.<\/div>\n
Atty. Romylyn O. Regidor, the ELECOM Chairperson and Dean of the School of Law, formally proclaimed the newly-elected SSC officers. \u201cMay your leadership inspire us all to strive for excellence and achieve our collective goals. I am confident that under your leadership, we will continue to strive and achieve new heights. Let us work together to create a brighter future for J.H. Cerilles State College,\u201d she stated.<\/div>\n
The proclamation was followed by the induction of the officers, led by President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, who also delivered a message emphasizing the significance of their roles and responsibilities. In his message, he said, \u201cYou are the partners of development.\u201d <\/div>\n

Mr. Wendel Ragusta Jr., the incumbent SSC President, turned over the key of responsibility to Mr. Cyrusdirk Elle, the newly elected SSC President, who then received a message of challenge from Mr. Rashem Van Hagen Yusop, which was accepted by Mr. Benjie Jimenez, the newly elected SSC Vice President.<\/div>\n
Meanwhile, the Math and Science Club officially launched the month-long Math-Sci celebration with the theme \u201cPartners to Progressive and Sustainable Future.\u201d Ms. Daisy Mae Ybalane, the Math-Sci Club President, delivered welcome remarks, followed by a trivia quiz organized by the club officers and words of encouragement from Kyle Andrey Ancog, the Math-Sci Club Vice President. The club officers also outlined various engaging activities planned for the month-long event, all designed to foster a deeper appreciation for math and science. -RMOJ<\/div>\n
